Now that the holidays are officially here (I consider officially to be after Thanksgiving), it is time to start decking those halls! I know a lot of people have already started decorating or decorated weeks ago, but I don’t ever start until the weekend after Thanksgiving. I made some progress last weekend – I got the tree up and decorated – but I still have a good bit to do this weekend.
Whether you are still working on your decorating, haven’t started or are looking for a few finishing touches, this post is for you! I just can’t resist picking up a few new things to add to my decor each year. And every year it seems things get cuter! So today I’ve got some great decorations that are sure to make your home a little more merry!
I always love seeing pictures on Instagram where people have used little trees like this one around the house. You can decorate it or not (it would be really cute in a kid’s room decorated!). I haven’t done this yet, but I want to give it a try as soon as I figure out where to do it.
Target has some of the best decorations and, even better, they aren’t super expensive so you won’t feel bad about adding a few new items! I love this little sign and ornament tree (which is according to the website shatterproof!)
If you are in need of a tree skirt, I am loving this Gather Round plaid skirt!
We have two of these light up signs (one Joy and one Noel) from a few years ago that are similar. One is on our mantel and one is on the bar cart. I promise they are Charlie’s favorite Christmas decorations.
I think fun garland is a great way to add a little bit of the holidays to an area without having to commit a lot of time or effort. This pom garland is super festive. You could string them across a mantel, around a staircase, across a bar cart, in kids’ rooms, on your tree.
Throw pillows are a super easy way to add a little holiday cheer to a room. This Merry and Bright pillow is really cute and less than $20!
Anthropologie has some of the best ornaments, in my opinion. I really love the ones that feel super vintage, like this box set. They also have an ornament that is a stack of books that I had a fit over. Charlie just rolled his eyes.
I just love these Fa La La mugs! If you have a little coffee bar area, set these out to add a little festiveness to the area!
So have you decorated yet? Are you done? Somewhere in the middle like me?
