The week of Spring continues here! Yesterday was all about early spring fashion, and today is all about spring shoes!
I don’t know about you, but I am SO ready to put away the heavy boots and start breaking out the cute flats and espadrilles and wedges. As excited as I am to start wearing boots in the fall, by March I am completely over them and ready to move on.
Of course, sandal weather is quickly approaching, but we aren’t there just yet (unless you live somewhere like Florida), so everything in today’s post is great for early spring (and of course those times when your toes don’t look so hot).
Espadrilles are a great way to start incorporating some spring footwear into your looks right now, especially if they have a closed toe. Whether you want something with some height like this wedge, or a flat like this striped pair or color blocked pair, you can’t go wrong. Also, the color blocked pair comes in several cute color combos. I also love the black & white combo.
Mules are another great transition / early spring shoe. They are more open than a regular flat, but they cover your toes, and therefore keep your feel warmer. The heels come in black, brown and white, but I feel like the white feels a little more like spring. And I love this blush pair with the knotted bow!
I decided that my first shoe purchase of the spring would be these laser cut loafers. I love the color, and the laser cut detailing on the top. I can’t wait for them to get here. I’ll be pairing them with all of my spring skirts and dresses (hopefully they fit!)!
Gingham is EVERYWHERE this spring and I love it. There are so many options out there – from a heel to a flat to a sneaker. There are no excuses NOT to have a gingham shoe in your spring arsenal (plus the heel and the flat are each under $35).
Are you ready to start wearing spring shoes? What is on your spring shoe wish list?
