I love Halloween. It is weird because I don’t like scary movies and I hate to be scared, but I have always loved Halloween. I think part of the reason is because my birthday is the day after Halloween, so it was always really fun when I was growing up, and my love has just continued on.
I also really love to decorate for Halloween, and there are so many cute decorations now! Halloween decor has really come a long way. The picture above is of my fireplace from last year. I haven’t done any decorating yet, but I am hoping to break out my Halloween decorations this weekend. I try to hold off until the beginning of October. Last year I said I wanted to do my bar cart this year too, which means I will need to buy some more!
So since there are SO many cute decorations, I thought I would share some of my very favorites to help inspire your own decorating!
While I love Halloween and pumpkins, I am not a fan of actually carving pumpkins. So this is a really good compromise. These galvanized pumpkins light up and you can use them for several years!
If you are decorating your bar cart (or having a Halloween party) these skeleton stemless wineglasses would be perfect. I also love this “Pick your poison” chalkboard. Also this bottle would be so much fun too!
If you are wanting something a little less Halloween and a little more fall that you can leave out through Thanksgiving, this candle would be a good choice.
I love a festive banner, and this trick or treat banner would be so cute across a mantle, a bar cart, in the kitchen or on the front porch for trick or treaters!
A necessity for Halloween is a cute doormat for those trick or treaters. I really like this one with the pumpkins.
This tabletop sign is so fun for the kitchen, in a playroom or cute sitting on a fireplace too.
And of course you need something for your door. This hanging sign would be perfect!
Another decorating idea that won’t cost you much – I tied some Halloween ribbon around the pots of my topiaries. And that works for any holiday. Also, the bins at the front of Target always have cute Halloween things for under $10. I think that is where my little banner came from last year.
And if you are still looking for more Halloween decor, I had really good luck at Home Goods last year. I got the cutest little candles that were witches legs. I hoping to get by there this weekend!
Do you decorate for Halloween? Have you already decorated this year?
