It is hard to believe, but it is time to start thinking about gift shopping. Black Friday is on Friday and the madness with officially commence. Of course, Black Friday isn’t what it used to be. I’ve been seeing “Black Friday Sales” for weeks now, and the frenzy just isn’t what it used to be. But it is still the time of year that people really start holiday shopping.
I know that there are gift guides galore this time of year, so I am doing ONE mega gift guide that will hopefully help you shop for just about everyone on your list. (There will also be a last minute gift idea post later on in case you need it). I’ve highlighted some of my favorite picks, and even though I have a designated under $50 gift category, there are LOTS of gifts under $50 throughout.
Cozy gifts are my favorite to give and receive, and so this fuzzy pullover is, in my personal opinion a really good gift (Pink is my favorite but it does come in 5 colors)!
I am a crazy scarf person, and I think they also make awesome gifts. Plus you can personalize this one by adding a monogram, making it just a little bit more special.
I recently got this mask for my birthday and I LOVE it. It is on the more expensive side ($48) so it is a great little splurge for someone.
The Fitbit Versa Smartwatch could honestly be for anyone, but I know that my husband would appreciate the tech-y-ness of it a lot more than I would.
For any guy who does a little traveling, a nice weekender bag is always a good idea.
This hammer was picked out by Charlie. He said every man needs a good hammer, and this is the one he recommends (he is has this exact one). It is less than $15 so it is a winner in my book!
For the Harry Potter loving child, this lego set is super cool.
How cute are this kid’s set of pots and pans! Perfect for the aspiring chef.
This is one of my favorite gifts in this entire gift guide – it is a board book, a stuffed animal and a backpack set. It is adorable.
Whether someone has just moved in to their first apartment, or has been living in their home for 30 years, a gif for the home is always a nice idea.
A Cable knit blanket is a wonderfully cozy gift that just about anyone would appreciate (I got one several years ago and it is my favorite).
I love trays and have several around my house. This lucite tray comes in a few patterns and can be monogrammed!
If there is someone that you know that does not own a Crock Pot, please get them one. I have been using mine SO much lately.
Books are my very favorite thing to give and receive. Obviously I am an avid reader and always have been. And here is the thing – there is literally a book for everyone. So it is the perfect gift no matter if they are two or ninety two! I really had a hard time narrowing these down.
I love Eva Chen (formerly of Lucky Magazine, now of Instagram). And she just came out with her first book Juno Valentine and the Magical Shoes. I don’t even have kids and I want this book!
Where the Crawdads Sing was a Reese Witherspoon bookclub pick from a few months ago. I haven’t read it yet, but it is high on my to read list.
And for the extreme bookworm on your list? The gift that keeps on giving! You can give a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription to Book of the Month.
Most of us can’t spend a fortune on everyone on our list, but there are some really great gifts that you don’t have to break the bank to get!
Who doesn’t love a good candle? And anything from Chip and Joanna is bound to be good right? This $18 candle comes in three scents.
A S’well water bottle is a good gift for just about anyone on your list, and this one can be monogrammed! (*Keep in mind that if you add more than 1 letter, it will be over $50).
If you have a dog lover on your list, I highly recommend the We Rate Dogs calendar (daily or monthly). This is the best gift and under $15. And if you don’t follow them on Twitter (@dog_rates and @dog_feelings) and Instagram (@weratedogs), give yourself a gift and follow them. It is honestly the best thing on the Internet. *If you follow on twitter, make sure to read the comments as well. Everyone sends pictures of their dogs too!
So have you started your shopping yet? Or have you finished?
