It is April, and that means it is time for April showers. I’m not a big fan of the rain (unless I am snuggled in my bed), but the rain does mean I get to break out my Hunter boots. I’ve said it before and I am saying it again – I really love my Hunter boots. No matter what season it is, they are always the right choice. In the fall, I posted a few ways to style your Hunter boots for fall, so today I am talking about a few ways to style them for spring.
As I have also said before, I wear my Hunters when it is raining or not. They are just too cute not too. And even if it is just cloudy I put them on – you know, just in case it might happen to rain. I tend to reach more for my shorter Hunter boots in the spring. I am not sure if it is because they are shorter, or because I don’t wear the socks in the spring, but I do wear the shorter ones more.
Whether you have the shorter boots or the taller ones, they always look good with dresses, especially if the dress is above the knee. It doesn’t matter if your dress is printed or solid, bright or neutral, a pair of Hunter boots just adds so much to the look!
Hunter boots look really good with white. Whether it is a white skirt, a white dress, white jeans, it all looks good. And it really doesn’t matter what color boots you have! Something about the white makes them really stand out, and makes the whole look really crisp.
And if you are looking for a casual weekend look, go for a chambray skirt.
And as a quick side note- I own two pairs of Hunter rain boots, and didn’t own a rain jacket until last week. I was sitting at my desk soaking wet after walking in from an enormous down pour, and I decided that perhaps it was time in invest in one. I was so glad I had it this past weekend because we got a ton of rain!
So how do you like to wear your Hunter boots for spring?
