For as long as I can remember, my mom has made the most delicious pull apart cheese wreath on Christmas morning. We only have it once a year and it is a very important aspect of Christmas. I could honestly eat a whole one on my own (which is why she makes two). We all hover in the kitchen anxiously waiting for my mom to pull them out of the oven and then we fight over who gets to eat the last of it.
So today I am sharing this Christmas morning staple so that perhaps you can also enjoy this amazing treat as well. It would be great if you were having some sort of Christmas brunch. And actually the recipe calls this an appetizer so it doesn’t have to be just for breakfast (I firmly believe you can have biscuits any time of day or night). Although it is in the shape of a wreath, you don’t HAVE to have it just at Christmas, I suppose. But it is super festive being a wreath and all… the choice is yours but I do highly recommend you make this.
I have absolutely no idea where this recipe came from. It doesn’t say on the copy that I have.

A tip from my mom – make sure to grease everything really, really well – all of the foil, the sides of the cup – or else it will stick. And trust me you do not want that cheesy top to stick to the foil!
It really isn’t hard to make and it only has 5 ingredients (4 for us because my mom leaves off the parsley). There is very little prep involved and the cooking time is quick as well. Most time consuming part is cutting up the biscuits, which really isn’t that time consuming or maybe melting the cheese spread. I think it would be hard to find anything much faster (other than picking up a box of donuts).
What are some of your Christmas morning traditions? Do you eat the same thing each year like we do?
