Normally I don’t really post abut big sales going on, and I don’t post a lot of beauty content. However, I have really overhauled my skin and hair care products this year and am using a lot of new products, and let’s face it, beauty / skin / hair care products can be really expensive! Since Sephora is having their Beauty Insider Appreciation event right now, I thought it would be a good time to post some of my favorite products and some of the things I am thinking about ordering.
Sale details – The Sale is open to all Beauty Insider members – if you aren’t a beauty insider, it is free to join and you earn points when you shop. There are different levels of membership and your level depends on what your discount is. Even if you have just signed up, you will still get 10% off your purchase. If you are a Rouge member, you get 20% off with code YESROUGE. If you are a VIB member you get 15% off with code YESVIB and if you are a Beauty Insider you get 10% off with code YESVIB. The sale is open for everyone now and goes through August 3.
Some of my favorites:
Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate – I started using this at the beginning of the year, and I recently finished the bottle and started on my second. I love the way it makes my skin feel and I’d like to think my intense frown line between my eyebrows is a little less intense. I use it 1x a day (instead of the recommended 2x), and it lasted me a god 7 months.
Moroccanoil – I actually use the Moroccanoil products specifically for curly hair (the curl cream and the mousse), but the regular Moroccanoil is good for everyone! I know it is on the pricier side, but this brand has worked wonders with my hair & I am a believer.
Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash– I am a big philosophy girl, and have been for years. I’ve been using the Purity Made Simple face wash for probably 8 years and I still love it. I recently started using their Microdelivery Exfoliating wash, and I love it. It has enough grit to really feel like you are exfoliating, but it isn’t too harsh, which is good for me because my skin leans toward the sensitive side.
Bumble and Bumble Curl Creme – Obviously this pick is specifically for curly headed friends, but Bumble and Bumble has great products as a whole, so no matter what your hair type is, they probably have a great product for you!
Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Day & Night Moisturizer – I’ve been using the day cream for a while, but at the beginning of the year I started using the night cream as well. Both are super hydrating and not too heavy, which I really like.
What I want:
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate – I read that putting this over the line reducing concentrate is an amazing double whammy for your skin, so I have been thinking about adding this to my skin routine.
Summer Fridays Jetlag Mask – This mask has been all over the internet, and with really great reviews from everything I have seen. I am really anxious to give this a try!
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque – I love a good masque, and so far everything I have tried from Kiehl’s I like, so I feel like this would be a good one.
Drunk Elephant DBronz-i Anti Pollution Sunshine Drops – I have never tried any of the Drunk Elephant products, but this stood out to me. It does great things for your skin AND it gives you a little bit of a bronzy glow. Works for me. They actually have a whole Drunk Elephant set with 7 different products I would be interested in trying (Also, gift giving time is nearing and that would probably make a pretty good gift).
So are planning to shop the Sephora sale? What is on your must have and wish lists?
