Tis the season for summer weddings! Do you have a ton to go to? Charlie’s cousin is getting married this weekend so we have one to attend. Shopping for a dress for a wedding can be a little stressful. So today I’ve got some ideas for what to wear to summer weddings.
The way I have organized them is going from more casual to more formal. I thought it would be easier that way for you.
This floral knot dress is good choice for a more casual wedding (I would pair it with a heel to make it a little dressier). Plus I love that you could wear it over and over for work or the weekend.
This tiered maxi is a really fun option for a beach wedding (or a casual wedding). I love the bow belt and that you can wear this all summer long for events.
I love the lacy feel of this pale blue dress. It would probably work for a day or evening wedding, plus could be worn for other events (showers, date, etc).
This seersucker dress would be great for a day or late afternoon wedding. It would also be great for a beach wedding, like I had. I love seersucker for summer. This dress is pretty versatile too – perfect for vacation with some casual sandals!
Naturally I love this blush dress because it has bows, but it would be another great option for either a day or late afternoon wedding. It would also be another good pick if you are wanting to go a little bit more conservative.
Ok this post is about dresses, but I am including this navy jumpsuit because it is so chic. I love the neck and the bow belt. So many jumpsuits are black, and it is kind of a faux pas to wear solid black to a wedding, but you can absolutely do this navy one!
This silk color block dress is amazing in my opinion. This is another great option for an evening wedding. I love the color combo and the ruffles.
This yellow sheath with tulle hem is a great option for a more formal evening wedding, especially if it is on the conservative side. It is elegant, but the tulle adds a little bit of fun. I love the yellow color, but it also comes in a kelly green, which is amazing, or black (for maybe a non-wedding event).
If you are headed to a formal wedding, this one shoulder bow dress would be a lovely choice. I love the navy, but it also comes in blush.
So are you attending any summer weddings this year?
