The Ballet

I barely saw the hubs all weekend-  his law school exams start on Wednesday so he has been studying like a mad man.  I am not sure how he does it.  He has been studying non stop since we got home from Thanksgiving.

We did get to have our date night on Saturday night (only because we had tickets to see the Nutcracker).  I used to go see the Nutcracker every year with my mom and grandmother, but haven’t been in years.  I have been begging to go for the past few years, and this year he caved (Since I have absolutely no one else to go with I guess he felt sorry for me…).

I wouldn’t say he loved the Nutcracker, but he didn’t go to sleep during it, so that was good.

We took these pictures outside of the old Capital building in downtown Jackson.  It is really gorgeous.

Shirt: J. Crew, Sequin Top: J. Crew (similar), Skirt: Anthropologie (similar), Shoes: Kate Spade (similar),

stySide note:  This tulle skirt may be my new favorite thing!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Cute skirt! And there’s nothing like the Nutcracker to get you into the holiday spirit. I’m hoping to go to a holiday play of some sort in the next few weeks.
